CENTURY CITY | MANHATTAN CORNER

Manhattan Corner is Rabie's latest mixed-use development in Century City, which consists of two new buildings that will house seven office sectional titles on the ground floor, and residential apartments above. Bordered by Century Way and Esplanade Road, and designed by Munnik Visser Architects, Manhattan Corner instills elegant character to the area with the two new buildings' staggered skyline. The contractor for this commercial addition to the Grand Moorings precinct is Big Ben.

Cobute supplied Manhattan Corner with its patented stair system for the two new buildings,external stairs and walkways between two landings. The Contractor Big Ben had previously adopted the innovative stair system for its ongoing residential development Clara Anna Fontein, as structural performance and ease of installation were the two deciding factors in extending the Cobute stairs to this commercial project too.

Manhattan Corner has been designed with critical water considerations in mind: a dual plumbing system is also being installed at Manhattan Corner allowing only non-potable water to be used for all toilet flushing.
