In this commercial project designed by Pr. Structural Engineer Mark Labrum, Cobute supplied its precast structural elements for two brand new warehouses in Blackheath, a dynamic and growing industrial neighbourhood in Cape Town.

Both structures feature Cobute precast slab system (148 sqm each), with first floor and roof beams, as well as shutters for stair.
Galvanized boxes were supplied to ease the installation of electrical services.
When the systems are used together, they ensure an integrated and monolithic connection, allowing not only fast installation but also one concrete pour for the different elements, with great time and concrete savings. Shuttering is also minimised with great cost reduction on site.
