Vera van Wolferen | Capsules of miniature architecture

Dutch Artist Vera van Wolferen has created a beautifully detailed, miniature world made of cardboard and balsa wood sculptures, which often become stop-motion animations.

Her latest project, Story Objects, focuses on tiny homes on the go, on top of dainty sedans, jeeps, or wheels that allow them to get moving on the road.

Miniature sculpture out of balsa wood. Part of the Story Objects series, a personal project.

Named one of the new-generation animators by Monocle in 2015, Vera will surely whip you away into a soft and bouncy reality; albeit tiny, her sculptures in Story Objects reflect great attention to the architecture of these homes, which don't look so imaginary.

The story originally appeared on The Colossal
