PARKLANDS | NEW DWELLING BY DEVBARK CONSTRUCTION

Devbark Construction is in charge of a few residential developments in Parklands. For this specific new dwelling, Structural Engineer Mark Labrum of Labrum & Associates has specified the Cobute system for decking and stairs.

The Cobute decking consists of interlocking panels and ribs.

The Cobute decking system consists of interlocking panels and ribs, with the addition of polystyrene blocks; these create a void that assists with a dramatic reduction in concrete consumption as well ensuring thermal and acoustic insulation. The staircase in this project includes two flights, which can be poured concurrently with the slab.

Both systems require minimal shuttering on site, ensuring not only a time-effective management of site work but also a tidy site with little to no waste sent to landfill.
