NOORDHOEK | MILKWOOD
Milkwood is a residential development comprising of four units, set in the charming Noorhoek Valley. Designed by Pr.Engineer Willie Van Schoor, the four dwellings feature Cobute's precast system for decking, edge ribs and staircase. While the first unit was built in 2016, while the remaining are being developed in 2018.

Designed to ease installation on site while guaranteeing high structural standards and minimising waste, the precast edge rib manufactured by Cobute is a permanent concrete edge shutter, consisting of an L shaped rib, with zigzag steel and a concrete edge. As per the Cobute slab system, the steel specs are defined by the Engineer. Once poured, the permanent shutter forms the outer side of a concrete edge, breaking tradition with excessive waste on a building site.
