Hampton Place | Sellesa Properties
Modulo, Geoplast system for raft foundations in regenerated polypropylene, is the foundation of choice for Hampton Place, the latest Sellesa Properties development in Parklands, Cape Town. Cobute supplied the steel fixing for the ground beams.
The plan includes 17 three-storey blocks of residential apartments, where each unit is 300 m² on soil classified as sand. Modulo system by Geoplast was chosen for the raft foundations with H17 and H9 for the patio. The signing Pr.Engineer is Ugo Rivera.
The client is very happy with Modulo structural performance and its time advantages are on the spotlight; the first four foundations (1200 m²) were installed and cast in just seven days, with services already installed, as shown in the pictures below.
The foundations are set to be completed by the 15th February 2017.
