The Cobute precast solutions, designed by Consulting Engineer Ugo Rivera, were chosen because of their monolithic integration between the elements and their light weight; these solutions bring about not only great structural advantages but also ease of installation on site as well as being cost effective.

The concrete screed is leveled and vibrated through the use of Libellula vibrating straight edge, which helps achieve great precision and great timings when casting slabs up to 300 mm.

Modular construction was favoured at Acorns, which made use of Modulo, Geoplast's ventilated raft foundation system in recycled polypropylene. In line with green building efficiency, Modulo was chosen for its behaviour on expansive soil, the total protection it offers from humidity as well as the natural ventilation, which assists with the R value of the foundation.
